Hanna Tripp

Hanna Tripp is a Senior Policy Advisor with Minority Veterans of America. Previously she was the Director of Operations with the Afghan Medical Professionals Association of America where she coordinated medical and mental healthcare for Afghans both in Afghanistan and the U.S. Through these efforts, she developed and launched a telehealth platform that has since provided over 500 people in Afghanistan and surrounding countries access to free care from US-based medical providers. Hanna has been involved in multiple facets of this crisis from the coordination of on the ground evacuations to standing up a pro-bono immigration clinic for Afghan refugees. 

Hanna served in the U.S. Air Force from 2009 to 2014 as an AC-130 Aerial Gunner and C-5 Loadmaster. She has previously worked as a Veteran Caseworker for Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) and was a The Mission Continues fellow for Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy III (D-MA.) She currently volunteers as the Board Treasurer for the Greater Boston Veterans Collaborative. Hanna is a Defense Fellow with the Truman National Security Project.
